What QRDynamic collects, why, and the choices you have

Who we are

QRDynamic ("we", "us") operates the website and services at qrdynamic.dev. You can reach us at support@qrdynamic.dev or through the contact page.

Static QR codes stay in your browser

When you create a static QR code (URL, text, email, or phone), the content is turned into an image in your browser. We do not send it to our servers and we do not store it.

What we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive your Google password. We also keep technical session data for signing you in, including the IP address and browser user agent of your sessions.

Dynamic QR code data. For each dynamic QR code you create we store its title, destination URL, design settings, status, and scan totals.

Scan data about people who scan your codes. When someone scans a dynamic QR code, our server records the time of the scan, the country (provided by our network provider), whether the device looks like mobile or desktop, and the referring page if the browser sends one. We do not store the scanner's IP address or full browser user agent in the scan record, and we do not set cookies on redirects. The scanner is then sent to the destination chosen by the QR code owner, who is responsible for that destination.

Payment information. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep your plan, payment status, and Stripe customer and subscription identifiers so we can give you access to the right plan.

Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message.

Files you upload. If you upload files in your account settings, we store them in our storage service until you delete them.

How we use information

  • To provide the service: sign you in, create and redirect QR codes, and show scan statistics.
  • To process payments and manage your plan.
  • To answer your messages and provide support.
  • To keep the service secure and prevent abuse, such as phishing or malware links.
  • To fix problems and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not show advertising.

Service providers

We use these providers to run QRDynamic. They process data only to provide their service to us.

  • Cloudflare: hosting, database, file storage, caching, and sending email.
  • Google: sign-in.
  • Stripe: payments and subscription management.

How long we keep data

We keep account and QR code data while your account is active. Scan records are deleted together with the QR code they belong to. When you delete a QR code or delete your account, the related data is removed from our systems, except where we must keep limited records to meet legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations. Stripe keeps its own payment records under its own policy.

Your choices and rights

You can edit or delete your QR codes and uploaded files at any time. You can delete your account in your account settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to some processing. To make a request, email support@qrdynamic.dev and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We use HTTPS, access controls, and a managed cloud platform to protect your data. No online service can be completely secure, so please keep your account safe.

International transfers

Our providers operate globally, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own.

Children

QRDynamic is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above. For significant changes we will give additional notice, for example by email or in the app.
