Cookie Policy
The few cookies and browser storage items QRDynamic uses
Summary
QRDynamic uses only the cookies and browser storage it needs to work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and scanning a QR code does not set any cookie.
What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way. They let a website remember things like whether you are signed in.
What we use
Essential
- Sign-in session: after you sign in with Google, a session cookie keeps you signed in and protects your account.
Preferences
- Language: remembers the language you chose.
- Light or dark mode: remembers your display choice.
These items are needed to provide the features you ask for, so they are set without a consent banner.
Third parties
When you pay, you are taken to Stripe's hosted checkout page. Stripe may set its own cookies there to process payments and prevent fraud. See Stripe's own policies for details. Signing in with Google also takes you to a Google page, which sets its own cookies.
Analytics
We do not currently run analytics scripts on QRDynamic. If we add privacy-friendly or other analytics later, we will list them here and, where required, ask for your consent first.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookie, you will not be able to stay signed in. Language and display choices will be forgotten when you clear them.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date above shows when it last changed.
